1. Membership Expectations Must demonstrate positive moral and ethical integrity and behavior. Must be in agreement and understanding with the objectives and goals of A.B.O.V.E. Must attend all board and committee meetings and functions, such as special events. Encouraged to establish a subcommittee of at least 3 individuals Be informed about the organization’s mission, services, policies and programs. Comply with conflict of interest and confidentiality policies. Review agenda and supporting materials prior to board and committee meetings. Offer to take on special assignments, be timely and follow through on assignments. Inform others about the organization and program. Provide positive and/or constructive opinions and recommendations. 2. Membership Terms Members serve one-year term and may be re-nominated to additional one-year term. 3. Confidentiality of Board and/or Committee Activities Each member is encouraged to carefully guard information about their own activities, keep Board and/or Committee discussions confidential, and respect the confidentiality of other members of the Board and/or committee. Draft documentation must not be shared with anyone external to the Board and/or Committee without approval of the entire Board.
